Baby Nurse Visits
For decades new mothers in BC have received a routine visit from a public health nurse in the early days after birth. Now the government wants to do away with visits to all mothers and reallocate resources to mothers who are "at-risk." The president of the BC Medical Association, Dr. Nasir Jetha, gave us his perspective on the change.
