Becoming a citizen is getting harder

Younger and older applicants will have to pass language tests. Longer periods of residency will be required.


"No question, we will see massive slow downs, both in people trying to come to Canada to immigrate and people who apply for citizenship," says immigration lawyer Guidy Mamann.
