Gay-Straight Alliance Clubs
Under the new Accepting Schools Act, schools won't be able to stop students from calling a club a "gay-straight alliance."
The Minister of Education announced the amendment to its anti-bullying bill late Friday.
The new wording speaks to a situation at St. Joseph Secondary School in Mississauga where students wanted a GSA club. But the Catholic school insisted it be called the Open Arms Club.
The Ontario Catholic Trustees Association still objects to the name. The group's president says he hopes the amendment won`t pass.

EI history will affect your claim
Human Resources Minister Diane Finley laid out changes to employment insurance.
The longer and more frequently someone claims employment insurance, the broader their job search will have to be and the lower the wages they must be willing to accept. The government will send out twice-daily job alerts to people on EI.
NDP MP Peggy Nash says the changes don't address the problem.

Bieber to help London pregnant teens' home
The Salvation Army says its Bethesda Centre in London will close in June if it doesn't raise $1m.
A group of alumni moms are trying to raise that money with some high profile help.
Sarah Brooks is with a group called Save Bethesda. She lived at the home for pregnant teens with Justin Beiber's mom, Patti Mallette, when the Bieb was born.
On May 12, the Save Bethesda group announced that, Justin Bieber is donating some money from sales from a new song, Turn to You, It's not clear whether that will be enough to keep the place open.
