Same-sex Divorce

A lesbian couple came to Canada to get married but now that they want a divorce, the federal government is telling them they were never legally married.

Robert Leckey says this is an about face for Canada. He teaches family law at McGill. He is also the president of EGALE Canada, a human rights organization representing lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender interests.
