If you have a story to suggest or information on a breaking news story call them or send them an email. The phone number of the bureau is (519) 667 1990.
Gary Ennett has been with CBC Radio since the opening of the London, Ontario news bureau in 1998.
He has covered a wide range of stories including the Ipperwash Inquiry into the death of native protester Dudley George, the collapse of the London-based Fulcrum Financial, and the funding challenges facing Ontario's hospitals.
Ennett has also covered major stories in education. Among them: the implications of declining enrolment for elementary and secondary schools, attempts to combat schoolyard bullying, and the Bob Rae Report on Post Secondary Education.
In addition to his work as a reporter, Ennett regularly performs as a news editor of the Ontario Regional News.
From 1985 to 1997, he served as news director of CFPL-AM & FM in London. Under his leadership, the stations won more than 20 news awards, including seven international citations.
Ennett has served as a part-time lecturer in the Graduate Journalism program at the University of Western Ontario, and is a former president of the Radio-Television News Directors Association of Canada.
Kerry McKee has been a journalist since the mid-1980's, working in both radio and television.
Along the way, she has covered news, current affairs and/or sports in Sudbury, Kitchener-Waterloo, Fredericton, Halifax and London. Career highlights include winning an RTNDA award for a feature documentary on improving the lives of people living with physical disabilities called "Craving Independence" and covering the Calder Cup in Cornwall, Ontario for CBC Maritimes - Television and Radio.
Kerry can't imagine a career in any other field and often says, "I am so fortunate to be paid to do something I would do for free." In fact, when Kerry's children were young, she volunteered her time to cover the London Knights and other current events for a London community television station.
Kerry has worked at the CBC Radio One Bureau in London, Ontario since 2000.
