War Amps support for Christine Caron

Last week we spoke to Christine Caron.
She is the Ottawa mother who had both her legs and one arm amputated after a bite from her dog that caused her to go into septic shock.
Since then, she has been in hospital, getting physiotherapy and a set of prosthetic limbs.
But she also needed financial help to build a ramp in her home and help with costs not covered by OHIP.
The community answered, and to date, has donated more than sixty thousand dollars.
The War Amps is one of the groups helping her. Mike spoke to Karen Valley. She is the Director of National Amputee Centre.
