Walking with our Sisters

When Metis artist Christi Belcourt decided she wanted to do something to commemorate the lives of indigenous women who've gone missing, she had no idea that more than 16 hundred strangers from across Canada and beyond would take up a needle and start beading. Christi told us about "Walking With Our Sisters". It is an unique art installation made up of unfinished moccasins.
