Amphicar

It's a car, it's a boat, no its an Amphicar! It seemed like a good idea when it was built in the1960's -- a car that could be driven on land as well as water.
Called the Amphicar, it was the only mass-produced amphibious passenger-car ever made.
But it never caught on, and seeing one today on the road -- or in a lake -- is very rare.
Our guest host Mike Ewing talked to Fred Pierce. He drives the oldest, continually owned Amphicar in the world.
