Various religious leaders joined police, educators and other community leaders in London last night to address Islamaphobia.
There have been some incidents that have raised concerns. Women have had their head scarves pulled off; and children in school have been ridiculed during Ramadam.
London police hosted the event and hope to find strategies to prevent acts of hate towards members of the Muslim community.
Imam Munir El-Kassem was one of the panel members. He's also a London Police Service Chaplain.
