Elaine Power of Kingston has served on the board of a local food bank. She wrote a polemic for the Globe and Mail where she contends that the short-term solutions provided by food banks lets us off the hook from dealing with the real problems of poverty and inequity. After she made her case, Glen Pearson, Executive Director of the London Food Bank, explained why he thinks the suggestion is doing a disservice to those who are trying to help.Listen
