Would Closing Food Banks Help Fight Poverty?

Elaine Power of Kingston has served on the board of a local food bank. She wrote a polemic for the Globe and Mail where she contends that the short-term solutions provided by food banks lets us off the hook from dealing with the real problems of poverty and inequity.
