The biathlon stadium for the Vancouver Olympics is part of Whistler Olympic Park, which also includes stadiums for cross-country skiing and ski jumping no more than a quarter-mile away.

The park itself, which can accommodate 12,000 spectators, includes four kilometers of biathlon competition trails, a state-of-the-art shooting range and the 500-foot stadium area.
