We've arrived!  We successfully made the trip from tiny Ilderton, Ontario to Vancity. Canada freakin rocks!!!!! Seriously - everywhere we went we were seeing red and white (okay, and black considering the Olympic gear this year). Someone would whisper Vancouver and people would burst out in cheers...it's safe to say the entire country has OLYMPIC FEVA! Miley Cyrus should seriously take my advice consider re-naming her song (see title)!!!! ☺  
My name is Cara Moir. Canadian ice dancer Scott Moir is my cuther ( aka cousin)! Cuther, you ask? Well to make a long story short...Scott's mom and my mother are identical twins.  They're twins who married brothers (on the same day, yes!) one twin had 3 boys (Scottie's mom) and the other had three girls ( my mom). So all 6 of us are always asked: "but doesn't that mean  you're closer than cousins???" . Which we are, so we made up are own little word cousin + brother= cuther!!!! 
I am fortunate enough to be out in Vancouver to support Scottie and Tess! Making the trip as well for the Moir family are Scott's parents,his 2 older brothers, sister in-law Nicole and brother Danny's girlfriend Tessa (yes, we have 2 wonderful Tessas in our fam!!!) As I sit here and write this, I am making it clear to the group that this blog is going to be a group effort so we'll see how long this lasts ... I give it 2 days!

Excited is an understatement about how we are feeling! I know I haven't slept since the opening ceremonies and randomly throughout the day I would be fighting the urge to yell "I'M GOING TO THE OLYMPICS".  Charlie has yet to take off his Canadian "hockey helmet" aka lulu touque, pretty sure I caught him sleeping with it  on the plane, we're just SOOOOOOOO excited to be here!  Woohooo. We will proudly display our Canada gear 24/7 (we have enough Canada gear to outfit the PC) and will hopefully be able to bring you along our olympic journey!
