We're here and I think we'll be moving - what a lovely city!  We've been staying in West Vancouver and I feel like I am in the Caribbean.  Our view from our Host's home is of the Pacific Ocean... very beautiful and it is also very warm here - my kind of weather.  We arrived in Whistler last night and hope to catch a glimpse of our Shelley-Ann before today's event.

Olympic fever is definitely in the air.... everywhere!!!

canada 2 bobsleigh resize.jpgShelley-Ann and Helen did well on their first training run. Canada1 sled was the fastest, followed by USA, Germany and then Canada2 which is Shelley-Ann's and Helen's sled.  So, a fourth place finish in the training run, a great start and the beginning of their movement upwards!!!  Woo hoo!

I know it will be a challenge because the Germans and Canada1 have dominated World Cups this year but I'm just trusting that Shelley-Ann and Helen will have 4 clean and very fast runs when it matters most on today and tomorrow.
