It will likely come as little comfort for U.S. goalie Ryan Miller that he was named the most valuable player of the Olympic tournament in Vancouver, leading all netminders with a 94.56 save percentage in six games.

Miller was brilliant in leading his team to the gold-medal game against Canada. His only loss came in that final game Sunday afternoon, when Sidney Crosby beat him between the legs in overtime in the 3-2 final.

The all-star team was made up of Americans Miller, defenceman Brian Rafalski and forward Zach Parise; Canadian defenceman Shea Weber and forward Jonathan Toews; and Slovakia's Pavol Demitra, who led all scorers with 10 points.

Rafalski was named the tournament's top defenceman, while Toews was named the top forward.
