Canada's Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir have always been compared to the legendary British ice dance team of Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, who revolutionized the sport more than 25 years ago.

On Monday night, the Canadians brought home the gold, winning the ice dance competition at the Vancouver Games, thanks in large part to their trademark move "the Goose," where Virtue balanced with one blade — hands free — on Moir's inner thigh.

With Virtue and Mori's gold-medal win, debates over the accomplishments of both couples will heat up among figure skating fans and Olympic historians.

And we want to know what you think.

Are Virtue and Moir the most innovative team of their era? How do they compare with Torvill and Dean?
