When I first started working with my coach, Daniel Murphy, he talked to me about being committed and asked me if I really wanted to win the Olympics.

- Veronika Bauer Veronika Bauer is a former world freestyle ski champion, a title she earned at the 2001 event in Whistler, B.C. Born and raised in Toronto, Bauer followed up her crowning achievement with a silver-medal performance during the 2003 world championships in Deer Valley, Utah. A two-time Olympian and Canada’s top women’s aerialist, Bauer has reached the World Cup podium 18 times in her career, including four victories. She is currently recovering from post-concussion syndrome.
