It isn't just the Olympic Sliding Centre, having its share of critics in Vancouver, now there are calls that the cross country course is too dangerous as well.

Today, Reuters is reporting that Slovenia has made an official protest after one of their athletes, Petra Majdic, took a spill into a gully and broke four ribs. Majdic came back to win a bronze medal despite damage to her ribs

"We have filed a protest with the IOC (International Olympic Committee), VANOC (Games organizers) and FIS (International Ski Federation) because we feel that conditions at the course were too dangerous in training," Slovenian team spokesman Branislav Dmitrovic told Reuters on Saturday.

This comes after six competitors crashed out of the ladies downhill race on Wednesday.
