Here is a look at the men's curling competition, which gets under way Tuesday:
The Contenders
It would take a minor miracle for the draw not to produce a Canada-Scotland final. Kevin Martin has been unstoppable in his home country for the past three years. His chief rival has emerged on the world stage -- Scotland's David Murdoch, who beat Martin in the 2009 World Curling Championship. Murdoch seems to handle pressure a bit better than Martin, the Olympic silver medallist at the 2002 Games in Salt Lake City.

The Dark Horse
Norway's Thomas Ulsrud has skipped Norway to bronze medals in three of the last four WCWs. His rink was capable of handling the U.S. and Switzerland (well, in the bronze medal games, anyway), but went winless against Canada and Scotland. Could Norway make a breakthrough in Vancouver?
