Wasn't it exciting? Alexandre Bilodeau's gold medal win made believers
of a lot of cynics. A sweet son and a loyal brother this fresh faced,
bilingual, talented athlete lept into the hearts of Canadians and the
history books when he stepped on the podium last night to receive his
gold medal.

There's a lot of talk about who will be the final torch bearer, I
suggested Nancy Greene (no surprise), but one of my colleagues said
there's not enough people know who she is. What?!!! But, you know he's
right.

Yesterday, (Monday, Feb. 8) I was co-hosting the provincial afternoon
radio show from rinkside at the Robson Square Skating Rink. It was
busy. I hadn't been out on skates for a few years.
