Volunteering in BC: Earthquake Preparedness

We're starting a new series this week on volunteering - to highlight the ways people in BC can give their time to benefit others. It's also a way to be more involved in the community and can be its own personal reward.
This Saturday at 8:30 a.m. we'll hear from Desmond Rodenbour, who volunteers with the City of Vancouver, leading public Earthquake Preparedness Seminars.
And there are similar volunteer groups in communities all over BC so please check locally for your opportunities to lend a hand.

To encourage thoughtful and respectful conversations, first and last names will appear with each submission to CBC/Radio-Canada's online communities (except in children and youth-oriented communities). Pseudonyms will no longer be permitted.
