M.G. Vassenji
What a thrill to have award winning author MG Vassanji in the Studio One Book Club a couple of
weeks ago and to have a chance to talk with him about his new novel.
The Magic of Saida tells the story of a successful Canadian doctor who is haunted
by his childhood, and his mysterious family in East Africa.
He's also haunted by his childhood sweetheart and the promise he broke to her
so he leaves his family in Canada and goes searching for answers.
