Half Moon Bay Apple Festival

Half Moon Bay on the Sunshine Coast is celebrating apples today.

And in the process they're raising money for their local Food Bank and Child Care Society.

All day today they'll be making apple butter in a big cauldron at Cooper's Green.

Apple butter that you can buy tomorrow, once it's canned and cooled.

Katie Angermeyer is the chief organizer of the Half Moon Bay Apple Festival.
You can hear all about it after the 7:00 am news.
