Thanksgiving and Cranberries

cranberry.jpg
Many of us will be busy this long weekend creating Thanksgiving feasts for friends and family. Thanksgiving is truly a time to celebrate the bounty of the harvest and the change of seasons. One of the critical items for any Thanksgiving spread is the cranberry. We join Langley Heritage Society volunteer and cranberry-lover Bays Blackhall in Fort Langley BC, to learn about the history of cranberries and the 18th annual Cranberry Festival.

To encourage thoughtful and respectful conversations, first and last names will appear with each submission to CBC/Radio-Canada's online communities (except in children and youth-oriented communities). Pseudonyms will no longer be permitted.
