Bioluminescence with Sam Waddington

Bioluminescence is a phenomenon that happens just off our shores here in British Columbia. The best way to take it in is via kayak in calm waters on moonless nights.

Outdoor enthusiast Sam Waddington will be along to tell you what causes bioluminescence, and how you can view this incredible wonder of nature. He's an expert at chasing bioluminescence on his kayak.

He took this stunning photo of bioluminescence illuminating the surf of the West Coast of Vancouver Island.
