Adventure filmmaker Frank Wolf

We all love the comforts of our modern, urban lives. It's nice to go to sleep at night in a bed with a soft mattress, and wake up to a well-stocked refrigerator and an electric stove to fry up your bacon and eggs.

But that kind of life makes filmmaker Frank Wolf restless, and spurs him on to grand, intrepid adventures in the Canadian wilderness.

This summer, Frank and his crew will row their way through the polar waters of the Northwest Passage: a 3,000 km voyage.

You can hear that conversation after the 8:00 news Sunday.
