Alex Waterhouse Hayward's work has appeared in the New York Times, Vanity Fair and even on a Canadian postage stamp. His exhibition "People, Plants and Passion" showcases over 4 decades of work and opens today on Salt Spring Island at the Duthie Gallery.

Guest host Margaret Gallagher caught up with Alex earlier this week. You can hear the interview after the 7:30 news.
