Victoria artist Birgit Piskor creates beautiful, undulating sculptures from concrete.

In spite of the rigidity of the form, her sculptures have a fluidity and movement.

They have an added dimension of transcendence and transition -- ever since she had an

incredible encounter with a grey whale off the coast of Baja last year. Birgit tells us her

amazing story...
