The great Canadian classical musician George Zukerman has truly been an ambassador for a sometimes-overlooked instrument -- the bassoon -- in his long and distinguished career as a soloist.

He's travelled the world with the bassoon, played with great orchestras and had bassoon concertos composed for him.
