Author Susan Ketchen - "Grows That Way"

"Grows That Way" is a new novel from Vancouver Island author Susan Ketchen. It's the third book in a series about a girl named Sylvia, who loves horses, has some struggles at school and finds her parents exasperating by times...all pretty typical stuff. Except that Sylvia also has Turner Syndrome, a condition that prevents her from growing.

In this lastest novel Sylvia has begun taking a drug therapy which will help with her symptoms. You can hear the conversation on Sat. Dec. 16 after the 7:00 am news.
