Kat Thorsen and Intersections Media
Kat Thorsen is an artist and art therapist in Vancouver who really lives and breathes art! I had a chance to meet her recently to talk about her work with students at Intersections Media in Vancouver. It's an employment program for young people where they learn about film making and art making over a 5 week session.
I discovered that Kat is a very inspiring person. Besides leading this program she works with her father, who has had a stroke and they are working on a book about the experience. She is also an art therapist with private clients, and she is working on a graphic novel and lots more besides!
