Bernadette McDonald: Freedom Climbers

Freedom Climbers is a story about an elite group of Polish climbers who were leaders in the world of high-altitude climbing. But they conquered more than just the world's highest peaks. The story is just as much about politics and history as it is about adventure and inspiration. NXNW guest host Alya Ramadan sat down with author Bernadette McDonald to learn more about her award winning book.
