The Bright Well: Contemporary Canadian Poems about Facing Cancer

Fiona Tinwei Lam has collected the work of a fine group of Canadian poets for this anthology about facing cancer.  The poems deal with their experiences, emotions and thoughts during diagnosis, treatment, and beyond.  I had three of the poets whose work appears in the collection in the studio last week for a conversation and to hear a few poems.  It was a very moving experience for all of us. 

There is a reading event with a few of the authors from the collection on Tuesday, December 6 at 7 pm at the Vancouver Public Library Main Branch.
