The Chuck Davis History of Metropolitan Vancouver

chuck_davis.jpg
Copies of The Chuck Davis History of Metropolitan Vancouver are hitting bookstores shelves now. And they are probably weighing them down! The book is nearly 600 pages of facts, stories, photographs and maps about the city. Chuck Davis had been working on this book for decades and sadly he died before finishing the work, but a group of writers and friends, including writer Allan Garr, got together to finish it.

It's a collection of favourite recipes and stories from the cafe.  I have such fond memories of eating at the Cow Bay Cafe and am delighted to finally have the recipes!
