Canada Reads Contest

To celebrate Canada Reads on North by Northwest we're asking you to take up the pen or the keyboard and write a little fiction.

All five novels in the running for this year's contest have characters who are someplace they don't want to be and they are all trying to escape in one way or another.

So we've created the Canada Reads One Paragraph Contest.  To enter all you have to do is write a fictional paragraph about a character (or characters) being someplace (literally or figuratively) they don't want to be and from which they are trying to escape.

We'll choose three winners who will each receive a set of all five Canada Reads 2014 books.

The deadline for submitting your fictional paragraph is Sunday February 16th.  Send entries to
