Kathryn Gretsinger hosts North by Northwest this weekend

Kathryn Gretsinger is our host June 8-9. She'll be speaking with singer-songwriter Jill Barber as part of our Shelf Life series to hear about some of the books that have shaped Jill's life. Then we'll connect with Jill's husband, Grant Lawrence from CBC Music. He's on a cross-Canada musical road trip and he'll be sharing some of his adventures and discoveries from Ottawa. We'll hear some tips on vegetable gardening in Prince George from a master gardener... and we'll tell you about a student exchange that's left a big mark on the lives of a few young people in Nelson.
On Sunday - we'll get some great ideas for how to eat the big juicy strawberries coming from the BC fields, plus we'll hear about a Vancouver play that takes audiences to the site of the Chernobyl nuclear explosion, 25 years later.

To encourage thoughtful and respectful conversations, first and last names will appear with each submission to CBC/Radio-Canada's online communities (except in children and youth-oriented communities). Pseudonyms will no longer be permitted.
