Baker Byron Fry

Whole Wheat Country Loaf made with Metchosin grown wheat and rye and Saltspring Island Tomme D'or raw milk cheese.
Byron Fry never imagined he'd end up being a baker, but as it turns out he's at least the third generation in his family to take up the trade!
These days his mobile baker, Fry's Red Wheat Bread, has become famous on Vancouver Island for some very fine loaves! 
Broadcaster Gala Milne takes us for a visit to Byron's hand built, wood fired, bakery oven in Metchosin.
