Jason and Pharis have a new cd titled A Passing Glimpse which has been getting rave reviews! They wowed the crowd in Purden too.

And then three of the members of Canadian Waste took to the NXNW stage with some original tunes and a traditional one. I'll have all their songs on the website soon.
Poets Sarah de Leeuw and Gillian Wigmore came from Prince George to entertain us with fine readings from their new books. Sarah's book Geographies of a Lover is out now (from NeWest Press) and Gillian's Dirt of Ages will be out later this spring. (from Harbour Publishing)
And Bob Campbell, who is the curator at Exploration Place in Prince George came to talk about an almost forgotten Canadian star who has an amazing story!
Here's a shot of Bob Stowell from the ski patrol at Purden...a very funny man!
Michaela and Keith Buchanan with son Blake at Purden.
And then the sun came out at Purden Lake ski hill.
Here are more shots from the show by Lindsey Johnson
First here's Spencer from Canadian Waste and in the shot below Corbin and Nigel from the group.

And here is a great shot that Lindsey took of sound engineer and music producer Derek Bird behind the controls at Purden.
