Chef Mark McEwan

Mark McEwan's latest cookbook is Fabbrica, named for one of his restaurants in Toronto.  He's a familiar character to viewers of the Food Network in his role as host of Heat and as the head judge in Top Chef Canada.

The new book and the new restaurant focus on Italian cookery. The subtitle is Great Italian Recipes Made Easy For Home.  In the NXNW Cooking Club he served up some gnocchi with lamb bolognese and mint rocotta which was delicious and may have eased my fears about making gnocchi at home!
