Letters from November 24th

The results so far for me are good. I am glad that this is going very well for everyone involved and I am hoping for either Mulders or Kindt for the Yellowknife City Centre. Both have very good ideas as far as downtown core problems with drugs and alcohol are concerned, as well as social issues and housing problems.
I hope for the best for everyone!!
-John Harrison
The results are turning out the way I wanted them to. I really want Don Kindt to win because I really liked his ideas to help Yellowknife. We need someone who knows what he's doing. Good luck, Don.

Good Government/No Parties
Canadians from coast to coast to coast, should be paying very close
attention to this consensus style government in the N.W.T. It is something
we should consider doing in every province and at the national level
as well. We might want to toss in recall and proportional representation,
and by getting rid of political parties, we get rid of waste. Come
on Canada get with the program.

Dartmouth, N.S.
I was pleasantly surprised this a.m. to see all the coverage of the NWT election. Too often in the past our elections have been virtually ignored. I was very pleased to see the depth of the coverage provided. Keep up the good work.

CBC,
I commend the NDP for acknowledging that they are running candidates in the upcoming election. I must admit I don't think they stand a chance but it is good for democracy. On the other hand, the Liberals led by Lynda Sorenson are backing the Wyman camp. I thought Sorenson left her mark on the territory and disappeared. I see her in the Wyman camp and feel that this is a story that CBC needs to explore - I think this even disturbs the Liberals up here.
Just a thought,
Tks
