Devolution: the territory's next challenge
Richard Gleeson | CBC Online News | Nov. 13

Since then, the territorial government's role has grown to include responsibility for health, education, transportation and forestry.

It will be up to the next government to try to reach an agreement.

Devolution is a step the Yukon took last spring, when a negotiated agreement came into effect, giving that territory control over its resources.

CBC Yellowknife Reporter Richard Gleeson travelled to Whitehorse to find out how the transfer is working out there.
