July 7, 6:46 p.m. - NS Election

Three days into the election and I have not heard anything from either leader that will make me vote for them. At the end of the campaign I will probably vote for the party that I think will do the least damage to the economy of the province. The state of politics in N.S., as at all levels of government across the country, has hit an all-time low in regards to effective leadership and political accountability. Because I take my voting rights seriously I will cast a ballot on election day, just so I can have bitching privileges when another crop of elected politicians prove once again that in a democracy you get the government you deserve: You vote them into power.

July 7, 10:49 p.m. - Great Web Site

Great Web site. Good info and resources. Well done.

Would like to see the parties address environmental issues; Halifax harbour cleanup, Sydney tar ponds, land protection, etc. Also education (standards, not buildings). Not sure how I will vote yet.

July 7, 11:21 p.m. - Election Blues

Mr. Hamm doesn't seem to grasp just how disgruntled Nova Scotians are with his government's performance. August 5 may not be a good day.
