July 28, 1:26 p.m. - Good Story : gun registry

This federal issue is a matter for ALL Canadians. That's what Canada is, a group of provinces and territories, a federation. This PLOY certainly affects Nova Scotians, and if it is BAD law, then it should reflect upon the BAD politicians whom have imposed their views upon us all. Not only has there been a financial cost of $1 billion, more importantly is the fact that OUR government's short-sighted political correctness is responsible in policy for countless human rights violations and illegal acts upon the citizenship they are elected to serve.

July 28, 9:56 p.m. - Quiet talks and the unquiet media

Quite amusing how you people amuse yourselves. How little you care about how careful, earnest planning by honest civil servants and honest union leaders. How easily all thisgets forgotten about in an attempt to make a big story about a commonplace part of the labour relations business. Hopefully some time it will be your turn to be 'embarrassed' by your normal business practices. Perhaps it's time the media were cited for, shall we say, 'twisting' the truth just a little when they know full well what was happening. (And if you deny it, shame on you.)
