July 22, 9:37 p.m. - Leaders debate

I hope N.S. voters -- if any were watching -- will realize that Danny Graham has what it takes to get the province back on the rails. Of the three, he came across as the most sincere, competent and cognizant of the concerns of Nova Scotians (his age, and so-called political inexperience notwithstanding).

Bring on the election!

July 22, 10:12 p.m. - The Leader Debate

I was disappointed with the debate, because the three leaders used 90 minutes to state what was already in their platforms. I did not hear anything new. In addition, I felt that Mr. Graham avoided the first question altogether. The panel and the other two leaders should have called him to task. It will be nice when the day comes that one of the three parties elect a leader that has debating skills. How can we expect the voters to care about the election when the politicians offer us such a sub-par effort?

July 22, 11:09 p.m. - Leaders Debate

Absolute joke. How could it have been more scripted????

I watched the first two questions (that no one answered directly) and then I turned it off. Bullshit makes me sick and if any of the three thought they could sway votes by reading scripted notes from their political puppet writers they have truly lost touch. I expected to see off-the-cuff answers and responses to questions. The CBC should be ashamed of trying to convince voters this was a debate. I could have answered the questions in the same manner if I had the questions in advance, which they obviously did. How stupid do these leaders and the CBC think we are?

The only decision I've made is that I will not vote for the Tories because I am on vacation and am not going to waste it trying to sift through this BS. If they are as good as they claim to be they would have waited until the fall when the majority of Nova Scotians , who they claim support them, could have and would have followed the campaign and voted them back in. The weasels and puppets directing John Hamm are out of touch.

To insult me with this garbage and claim it was a debate is just another example of their arrogance and an example of being out of touch. I have two choices to make: Liberal or NDP.

John Hamm, you are a good man. Get away from the idiots running your party, they are a joke.
