I sincerely hope the CBC is going to keep insurance as a top priority as they follow the party platforms in the upcoming election.Mr. Lord certainly found out the hard way how important insurance rates are to Atlantic Canadians. Our house insurance went from $365 in 2002 to $1,000 in 2003 with no claims. We had some quotes as high as $4,600 for one year! Our car insurance jumped from $628 to $1,500, again with no claims. Our salaries certainly did not go up by this same amount. We will be voting for the party with the best insurance plan and best proposed environmental proposals. Thanks for the chance to voice my opinion. - Jeff Brisbois, Musquodoboit Harbour July 10, 9:24 a.m. - Undecided I enjoy your Web site. It is a great place to get information on allparties. I'll be following this site to help with my decision on which party I'll cast my vote. In politics, it appears easy to make anelection promise and hard to follow throughon the promise once elected. I'd like to see some accountability if a promise is not kept. At present, I'mthinking aboutvoting for the party who will do the least amount of damage if elected. This may be the wrong approach, but I'm hearing too many"I will" comments from candidateswithout a solid action planon how to achieve goals, afollowup plan andthe resulting action to candidates if they do not achieve their goals. - George Meisner
