the panel in action (runs 5:30)
Marilla on the timing of the election:
“I don’t think it’s that big a deal. I don’t
know how the opposition can make such a roar out of this after
screaming for months ‘Call the election’.”
Ross on what’s key in this election:
“I think it’s going to be a personality-based
campaign. I think these earlier grab-bag campaign focuses, whether
it’s education, health care or insurance, are going to
be transitory. The real issue is going to be the personalities.”
Marilla on the race in Halifax Citadel:
“There are Danny Graham signs up everywhere and Jane
Purves doesn’t have any signs yet. Danny Graham is looking
strong.”
