We're into Training week 6! The post-Easter training week for Team CBC and Thanks to all for your inspiration and camaraderie as continue toward race day.
We still have space on Team CBC, so please let your friends and family know that if they're planning to run or walk any race in the Blue Nose, they're welcome to do it with us. Team members get a team kit with a snazzy Team CBC running jersey they can wear on race day. This blog has all the details.
Here's what's on the Team CBC training schedule for this week:Thursday, April 12, 6 p.m.
What: Group run
Where: meet at 1840 Bell Road (CBC building) parking lot
*Moya Walsh leads and will provide a variety of routes to meet the goals of Team CBC members (5k, 10k, etc.)Friday, April 13, 6:30 pm
What: Group fitness class: 20-20-20 / Cardio-Strength-Stretch
Where: YMCA South Park Street
We're planning to hold a health and wellness session with Lifemark the last week of April. They will be doing a mid-training check-in and will have information about nutrition, injuries, footwear and will be able to answer any questions you have. Please let us know if you're interested in attending the session. It's scheduled for Thursday April 26th at 7 p.m. after our team run. There will be healthy snacks on hand.
We're only 6 weeks away from the Blue Nose Marathon
