CBC is happy to be presenting sponsor of the Scotiabank Blue Nose Marathon. 2013 marked the event's 10th year, which takes place every Victoria Day weekend in Halifax. The Scotiabank Blue Nose Marathon promotes and celebrates healthy living and active lifestyles. As well, organizers encourage everyone in our community and beyond to get involved as a volunteer, sponsor, spectator, or participant. CBC Nova Scotia has its own team in the marathon each year. Team CBC's inaugural run was in 2011. We invite our listeners and viewers to "run with us" and "cheer with us" during Marathon Weekend.
