  • Good news for folks in the south of the Yukon tonight seeing mostly clear skies little moonlight.
  • And after a gorgeous and sunny fall day today in the south of the Yukon, seeing another round of rain working its way in tomorrow.
  • This band of rain moving in from the south, so areas like Whitehorse will see rain beginning in the late morning, whereas Dawson can expect showers late tomorrow evening.

NWT OUTLOOK

  • Also decent viewing for the aurora in the south of the NWT, particularly the Dehcho.
  • Mainly sunny conditions continuing for most communities in the Sahtu, Dehcho, and South Slave tomorrow, while Yellowknife will see another cloudy morning with some sunshine towards the late afternoon.
  • Further north more rain tomorrow after some sunshine today in the Mackenzie Delta.
  • Slightly cooler air in Ulukhaktok and Sachs Harbour will mean the risk of snowfall tomorrow, although temps in the area are still a good 3-4 degrees above seasonal.

NUNAVUT OUTLOOK

  • Clear and cool through the Kivalliq tomorrow with a strong ridge of high pressure pushing southward from the Arctic Ocean. A little windy tonight in Coral Harbour before winds die to 30 km/h tomorrow.
  • Even colder as you head towards the Kitikmeot with this same Arctic ridge bringing highs a good 3-4 degrees below seasonal tomorrow (Cambridge Bay seeing temps dropping to -13 tomorrow morning)
  • Baffin will see another day of drizzly and foggy conditions in the southern communities (including Iqaluit). Further North on the island, expecting snow to continue through the day tomorrow with lingering instability in the area.
