Map: Northern Canadian mines

Mining in Northern Canada has a long and fairly complex history — from the Eldorado uranium mine that opened in 1932, to the yet-to-open Baffinland Mary River iron mine.

The data presented in the map below is not exhaustive, but use it to get a clearer picture of the mining landscape in the North.
