Booze Beyond 60°: The AUDIT test

The Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test was developed by the World Health Organization as a simple method of screening for excessive drinking.

Health care workers and alcohol researchers use it to identify people with hazardous and harmful patterns of alcohol consumption. One (1) drink is the equivalent of 341 ml (12 oz) of beer, cider or cooler, 142 ml (5 oz) of wine, or 43 ml (1.5 oz) of spirits.
